Lomé
Lomé, the capital of Togo, is a dynamic metropolis located on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea.
It covers an area of over 425 km² and is home to an estimated population of more than 2.1 million inhabitants.
As a port, administrative, and cultural city, Lomé serves as the country’s political and economic heart, while also acting as a strategic gateway to West Africa.
Visa
Nationals of African countries are exempt from visa requirements for entry into Togo.
However, prior to travel, they must obtain an entry slip for the Togolese Republic via the official website, voyage.gouv.tg.
Similarly, an exit slip must be requested through the same portal before leaving Togolese territory.
In addition, nationals of certain other countries remain subject to visa requirements for entry into Togo.
The visa application process is also available online at voyage.gouv.tg.

The Hôtel 2 Février is Lomé’s tallest skyscraper and iconic 5-star hotel, located right in the city center near Independence Square.
